New CANbus option for rotary sensor

Tuesday 25 October 2016

NRH27x family of rotary position sensors is expanded with the addition of a CANbus output option.

The NRH27C offers the optimal combination of performance, safety and cost and provides a CANbus J1939 output. The full range of the digital output span corresponds to a rotation of 360°, and the positional information is determined by the angle of the supplied magnet relative to the sensor body.

Contained in a 9.5mm low-profile housing and available with industry-standard AMP Superseal, Deutsch DT04 series connectors, or simple 18AWG flying-leads for customer termination, the NRH27C can be powered from a 5Vdc regulated or 9-30Vdc unregulated supply and provides a full 360° output range.

A fully-encapsulated design offers exceptional levels of performance with respect to water and dust, shock, vibration and temperature, meaning the sensor is ideal for use in hostile, on- and off-highway vehicle environments.
