Only Arens ingenuity could develop such feature-rich and powerful electronics in compact sizes designed to fit in a vehicle's existing battery box. With the Arens POWERPAC series of electronics, adapting an existing vehicle design to hybrid power does not involve intensive re-engineering.
The POWERPAC line includes:
- DC/DC Converters, in-air or liquid-cooled, bi-directional designs that serve up 4kW of continuous power.
- DC/AC Converters that deliver 6kW of continuous power, also in both liquid- and air-cooled designs.
- Traction Inverters up to 100kW output, compact IGBT-based design.
- Each of these, plus a battery, fit easily into a battery box compartment.
