Pneumatic throttle systems are used to minimize application force requirements in systems where an operator is located far from the engine he is controlling. They also provide an effective, low-cost method of independently controlling a single engine from two operator stations. These throttle controls are powered by compressed air from a vehicle's accessory air system. Typical applications include off-highway and industrial. On-highway applications support FMVSS 124 requirements.
